Founded in 1946, the Lancaster Course in Ophthalmology is a unique review course hosted by Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School. It has offered training to young ophthalmologists from all over the world and has supplemented training for many teaching hospitals in the States and in Canada.

The Lancaster Course in Ophthalmology will be held as a virtual online course in 2023. The four week course will provide contemporary and extensive coverage of the basic and clinical sciences in Ophthalmology. Residents and practicing ophthalmologists and optometrists are all welcome to attend. In addition to live lectures delivered via Zoom, the faculty will share a wealth of recordings for students to access in the online gallery at their convenience.
