- Recommend CT/MR protocols for brain, head & neck, spine, nerve, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Recognize imaging features of infection, trauma, tumors, and inflammatory disorders in the head and spine to facilitate rapid pathological classification
- Distinguish normal anatomy, common variants, and pathological disorders in major musculoskeletal joints, brain, head & neck, and spine as seen on MRI
- Identify internal derangement and post-operative appearances of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot
- Apply diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures including common joint injections
- Identify imaging characteristics of infections, bone, and soft-tissue tumors
- Understand advanced neuroimaging techniques including functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and MR neurography
- Develop strategies for evaluating common and uncommon abnormalities in the brain and spine
